Juiced.GS to publish in 2020

JULY 19, 2019 — LEOMINSTER, MA — Juiced.GS, the world’s last and longest-running Apple II print publication, will publish its twenty-fifth volume (issues #97–100) in 2020.

“We’ve enjoyed a lot of milestones over the years: our 1,000th article, our first full-color covers, a septupling of our subscriber base, and more,” said editor and publisher Ken Gagne. “As we close in on our first quarter in publication and our one-hundredth issue, it was a no-brainer that we’d remain in publication through that landmark — and likely beyond!”

Juiced.GS will publish four quarterly print issues in 2020 at the same prices as in 2019: $20 for customers in the United States, $25 in Canada and Mexico, and $28 for international.

Subscriptions and renewals for 2020 are available immediately. Customers who have previously purchased a subscription that automatically renews need to do nothing; their accounts will be charged on January 1. (An active subscription status can be verified by logging into one’s online account.)

Apple II enthusiasts who are curious about Juiced.GS can subscribe to the free email newsletter to receive a free sample issue with twenty pages of content from the past six years of the magazine.

To commemorate the announcement of Juiced.GS‘s first quarter in publication, editor Ken Gagne debuted Juiced.GS Dark Mode, a limited print run of two issues with inverted colors. Tired of all that whitespace causing eye strain? All that glare keeping your partner up when reading in bed? Enjoy text on a black background, just like the monochrome monitors on which Juiced.GS is edited. This special edition sold out at KansasFest, though its popularity was noted as an indicator of consumer interest in other magazine variations currently being explored.

In the meantime, subscribers can look forward to the flagship product expanding in other ways. “Juiced.GS isn’t just unique; it’s important,” said associate editor Andy Molloy. “The Apple II is growing not just in software and hardware, but in users and enthusiasts. Juiced.GS continues to evolve to represent all these voices, passions, and products throughout the community.”
